1 cup butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
1 (12 ounce) chocolate chips package

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Cream butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla.

Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients until well combined.

Stir in chocolate chips and chopped nuts.

Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.

Bake 10-12 minutes
