¾ c. sugar
½ c. sour cream
1 c. raisins
½ tsp. cinnamon
1 T. corn starch
3 egg yolks

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sugar, sour cream, raisins and corn starch until boiling. Add beaten egg yolks and continue cooking until thick. Pour into baked pie shell and cover with meringue.

3 egg whites
¼ c. sugar
¼ t. cream of tartar
1 t. vanilla



Directions:
Directions:
Whip egg whites until foamy. Add cream of tartar and continue beating until stiff. Slowly add sugar and beat until stiff peaks. Add vanilla and top pie. Bake at 350º for 25 minutes.

Grandma Frieda worked at the Driftwood Cafe for most of her career. After she retired, she ran the lunch counter at the bowling alley. And she made pies in both places. Her sour cream raisin pie was one of the favorites at both places.
