3-4 lbs. Stew Meat
Flour
Potatoes
Carrots
Celery
Onion
3-4 boxes Beef Broth
1-2 pkgs. beef gravy mix
3 Bay Leaves
Worcestershire sauce
Red Wine
Bisquick
Milk

Directions:
Directions:
Dredge beef in flour, sear in Dutch oven. Put potatoes, carrots, celery and onion in a crock pot, cover with seared beef. Whisk beef broth and gravy mix together, pour over beef and vegetables. Add bay leaves, Worcestershire sauce and red wine to taste. Cover and cook on medium for 6 hours, or high for 4 hours.
Make Bisquick dumplings and add to pot the last 45 minutes. Stew can also be made on the stove in the Dutch oven.

Let Bisquick dumpling dough rise for 10-15 minutes before adding to the stew - they come out much fluffier.
