Ingredients:  
2 med. heads of cabbage, shredded or chopped
1 c. vinegar, white or apple cider (or use some of each)
2 c. sugar OR use equal amounts sugar & vinegar
½ c. water
"sm. amount of shredded carrots, onion & mango [green pepper]".... no amounts given
1 t. salt
1 t. mustard seed
1 t. celery seed
*SW Indiana natives called green peppers "mangos". We didn't know there was another kind until we were adults.

Directions:
Directions:
Combine cabbage, carrots, onion & "mango". Set aside. Combine vinegar, sugar, & water in pan & heat to a boil. Add salt & seeds & stir well. Pour over cabbage mix & mix well. Refrigerate. Stir often. ****Can also be frozen.
