1 lg. can asparagus (Can use cooked, fresh asparagus, & add salt)
1 ½ c. milk
3 T. butter
¼ c. butter
1 t. salt
3 T. flour
3 hard boiled eggs (chopped)
Waverly (Club) Crackers, crushed to crumbs totaling ½ c. to ¾ c.

This is very rich. It doesn't make a lot, so double if having a large gathering.

Preheat oven to 350º.
If using canned asparagus, drain well. If using fresh, dry well after cooking.
Arrange asparagus in bottom of buttered (greased) glass casserole dish.
Make sauce with flour, milk, 3 T. butter, salt. Add eggs & pour over asparagus. Top w/ cracker crumbs. Melt ¼ c. butter & pour over cracker crumbs.
Bake until brown, about 30 minutes.
