Personal Notes:
Grandma always made this at Christmas. We had date cake on Christmas day. She would also make it in loaf pans and give away to friends. Trish and I walked to Grandma's house after school. Sometimes Lee would go with us. We would get there a little bit before Grandma got home from work. At Christmas time Grandma would have boxes of dates beside the bread box in the kitchen. Her 3 little angels would sometimes get into her dates!
