2 cups of raisins
1 cup of water
1 cup of salted butter
1 3/4 cups of white sugar
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
1 tsp vanilla exract
3 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp sea salt
1 1/2 tbsp of ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
1) Combine raisins and water in small saucepan; bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes.
2) remove from the heat and let cool, DO NOT DRAIN.
3) In a mixing bowl, cream butter with sugar.
4) Add eggs and vanilla.
5) Mix dry ingredients together and gradually add to creamed mixture.
6) Blend thoroughly.
7) Sir in raisins, alomg with water the raisins were boiled in.
8) Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto parchment paper lined baking sheets.
9) Bake at 350 F ~ 175 C for 12 to 15 minutes
