1 to 2 lbs ground beef (extra lean) 1 large onion, chopped 1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste 10 1/2 oz can french onion soup 1 cup dried red kidney beans 4 cups water 1 tsp chili powder 1 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp sugar 1 tsp Tabasco sauce 5 chili peppers (remove seeds and chop)
Brown beef and onion in skillet at the same time. Drain grease. Place beef mixture and remaining ingredients in a crock pot. Mix well. Cover and cook on high for 9 hours stirring occasionally.
