1 cup shortening
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
2 1/4 cup flour
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
3 teaspoons almond extract
Green food coloring (or whatever color you like)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Cream together shortening and sugar.
Add beaten egg, dry ingredients, flavoring, and food coloring.
Mix well until soft and easy to put into the cookie press.
Fill cookie press with any shape you choose. Form cookies onto ungreased cookie sheet. We decorate ours with small rainbow sprinkles balls.

Cook until lightly golden on edges- about 10-11 minutes.

Cool before eating. (They taste better fully cooled)
