5 c Flour
1 lb lard
3 tblsp Brown sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vinegar
1 egg mixed with water to make 3/4 cup

Directions:

mix the dry ingredients well
make a well in the centre
in separate bowl mix liquids
slowly pour liquid mixture into the well

mix until everything is combined. Do not over mix.
