1 c Butter, softened
2 c Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
2 tsp Root Beer Flavor (I get mine from Amazon)
1 tsp Vanilla
3½ c Flour
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tbsp Water

FROSTING
1¼ c Butter, softened
5¼ c Powdered Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
1 tbsp Water
½ tsp Root Beer Flavor; Another 1½ tsp Root Beer Flavor
Brown Food Color

Directions:
Directions:
Cream: Butter and Brown Sugar
Beat in: Eggs, Root Beer Flavor and Vanilla
Add: Flour, Salt, Soda, and Water
CHILL: 1 hour
Drop by Large scoop. Roll in balls.
Bake: 350º for 9-10 minutes.
Frost.

FROSTING
Cream: Butter, Powdered Sugar, Vanilla and Water
Divide in half.
To one half, add: ½ tsp Root Beer Flavor.
To other half, add: 1½ tsp Root Beer Flavor and Brown Food Color to make light brown.

On a strip of plastic wrap (Saran Wrap type): Spread Brown Frosting down center.
Top with White frosting.
Rollup and twist ends.
Cut off one end and place in frosing bag.
Use Tip # 1M to frost cookies in a swirl.

Makes approx 4 dozen cookies
