8 oz White Chocolate
1/2 C Unsalted Butter (room temperature)
3/4 C Granulated Sugar
1 Egg
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 1/4 C Flour
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Corn Starch
1/4 tsp Kosher Salt
1 C Macadamia Nuts, chopped

1. Preheat Oven to 350*

2. Beat butter ad sugar in a bowl until creamy, about 2 minutes. Beat in egg and vanilla until combined.

3. In separate bowl, stir together flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and corn starch. Gradually add flour mixture to butter mixture, beating on a low speed until just combined.

4. Fold in macadamia nuts until just combined. (Do not overbeat).

5. Gently fold in 1 C white chocolate chips. Cover and refrigerate dough for 1 hour.

6. Scoop heaping tablespoon sized balls of dough, then place on parchment paper-lined rimmed baking sheet, spacing about 2 inches apart. Press in some more white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts and sprinkle with some flake salt if desired.

7. Bake until slightly browned 10-12 minutes.

8. Let cookies cool on the pan about 10 minutes and then transfer to a wire rack and let them cool completely.
