1 C butter
1 1/4 C sugar
3 eggs
2 t. vanilla
4 C flour
2 t. baking soda
3/4 t salt
1 t cinnamon

Cinnamon Sugar Topping:
1/2 C butter
1 C sugar
1 T cinn

Frosting:
1/4 C butter
4 oz cream cheese
1 t vanilla
dash salt
2 T milk
4 C powder sugar
1/2 t cinn
Directions:
Directions:
preheat oven 350
cream butter and sugar, scrape sides and add vanilla and eggs, beat until smooth.
add flour mixture (flour, b.s., salt and cinn) once incorporated add the last cup of flour (if dough gets too thick, don't add all of it)
using cookie scoop, scoop balls of cookie dough, roll into balls and pout on cookie sheet and flatten cookies to 2/4 inch thick.
bake 10-12 minutes

Cinnamon Sugar Topping:
STOVE TOP: in saucepan, bring butter, sugar and cinn to boil stirring constantly and remove from heat, Spoon a t onto each cookie or T for larger cookie, let cool and harden
MICROWAVE: microwave on high butter =, sugar and cinnfor 3 minutes, stopping each min to stir.
Frosting:
Beat together butter and cream cheese until smooth
add vanilla, dash of salt and water or milk.
add powder sugar, 1 C at a time, after adding all the powder sugar, beat until completely smooth. Mix in cinn until blended.
spoon frosting into piping bag and cut corner and swirl around hardened cinn frosting.
