1 lb lard
1 c water
1 c sugar
2 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
1/4 salt
1 tbsp vanilla
1 tbsp anise extract
2 !/2 tbsp baking powder
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Mix lard with mixer till fluffy, add water, eggs mix till almost absorbed. Add sugar cinnamon, salt baking powder, vanilla and anise, mix again. Ready to form dough, add flour little by little knead by hand from dough. Approximately 6 cups of flour. roll out like a tortilla 1/4 in thick then cut, use cookie cutters or rolling cutter and cut in diamond shapes. Bake at 350 for 10 min or till slighty brown.

Make a mixture of sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over viscochos.
