Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 - 2 cans Crushed tomatoes
1-2 cans Tomato sauce
8-10 Basil leaves
1-2 tbsp. Olive oil
¼ cup chopped onion or dried
Fresh garlic clove or garlic powder
I large can Chicken broth

Take 1-2 tbsp olive oil and brown onion and garlic (if using dried or powdered use a max of 1 tsp each). Then add crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, basil and chicken broth. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer slowly about 2 hours, stirring often so sauce does not stick to bottom of the pan. Use whole chicken cut up or the desired chicken parts of your choice and brown separately (do not use oil or any other base). Combine with sauce and cook until and cook until chicken is cooked. Serve with pasta using the cacciatore sauce.
