4 cups milk
2½ cups sugar
4 eggs
¼ cup cornstarch
1 stick butter (½ cup)
1 tsp vanilla
½ peanut butter, or chocolate chips, or coconut

Graham cracker crust

Whipped topping

Directions:
Directions:
In a heavy saucepan, combine milk, sugar, eggs (beaten), cornstarch, & butter...

Bring to a boil over medium heat and boil until thickened... remove from heat and add peanut butter or chocolate chips or coconut... stir until mixed well, then pour into a graham cracker crust and if you want, you can top it with whipped topping.

This is a vague recipe and I haven't made it enough to get it completely figured out... but it taste's soooo good!!

Determining how thick it should be when you take it off the stove is my ??

I know it will get thicker as it cools, but you want it thick enough that when it cools, it can be sliced and still hold together.

Or you can do as I have done when it didn't firm up... Put it in a bowl, break up and stir in the graham cracker crust and call it pudding!!
