1 c butter
3 c sugar
4 eggs
3 c flour
1/4 t baking soda
pinch of salt
1 c regular whole milk with
(1 t. vinegar for butter milk flavor or 1 t lemon juice for lemon flavor)
1 t vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together softened butter and sugar. Add eggs one at the time. Into the bowl, sift flour, baking soda and salt. Slowly add milk mixture and vanilla. Blend well. Grease and flour 2 loaf pans or 1 Bundt pan. Pour in the mixture. Bake in 350º oven for about 1 hour.
