Cream 2-Cups of Sugar, 1.5 cups of shortening, 2-eggs and 1/2 a cup of molassas

Add 4-Cups of Flour, 1-teaspoon of salt, 4-teaspoons of baking soda, 2-teaspoons of baking powder,1-teaspoon of ginger, 2-teaspoons of cinnamon and one teaspoon of Cloves
