* 1 cup butter, room temperature
* 2 cups sugar
* 4 eggs
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1 teaspoon almond extract
* 3 cups flour
* 3/4 teaspoon salt
* 20 oz can cherry pie filling
Glaze Ingredients

* 1 cup powdered sugar
* 2-3 tablespoons milk

Directions:

1. In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add in eggs, extracts, flour, and salt, beating until well combined.
2. Spread 3/4 of the batter into a well greased half sheet pan (use the back of a spatula sprayed with nonstick spray to make it easier). Spread cherry pie filling over top of dough.
3. Drop spoonfuls of remaining dough over cherry pie filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 – 35 minutes or until dough is just beginning to brown. Cool completely.
4. Stir together glaze ingredients. Drizzle evenly over cooled bars. Allow glaze to set for a few minutes before slicing into bars and serving
