1 cup sugar
1 egg
2 cups flour
½ tsp. soda
½ tsp. salt
½ cup sour milk
½ tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Mix, drop and bake at 350° to 360° for 8 to 10 minutes. You can add nuts, chocolate bits or Frost them. They stay soft.
