2 sticks Fleishman's margarine
3 cups sugar
5 eggs
1/3 baking soda dissolved in 1 T warm water
3 cups flour (all purpose)
1 cup buttermilk
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp orange extract
1 tsp almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325.

Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time beating between each addition. Alternate flour and buttermilk and add in soda/water at this time.

Add flavorings.

Pour into well greased and floured bundt pan. Bake at 325 for about 50-60 minutes.

Let cool some, then turn on to serving dish.

I loved Grammy's pound cake. One time when visiting our house, I asked her to give me the recipe next time I saw her. She was about 90 years old at this time. She looked at me and asked, "You got a piece of paper?" I laughed and got the paper. She gave me this recipe straight from memory.
