4 eggs
1 ½ cup sugar
2 cups flour
1 ½ cup of melted butter
1 tsp vanilla


Directions:

Stir eggs and sugar in double boiler until creamy and lukewarm. Remove from heal and until cool. Add flour gradually, mixing well. Add butter and vanilla. Use special madeleine (shell) molded pan which has been buttered and floured, fill about 2/3 full (about ½ inch high). You can use as an alternative small 1 ½ inch muffin pans also about 2/3 full. Bake at 425 degrees for about 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes about 6 dozen.
