4 Cup flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
2 tsp baking soda
½ tsp nutmeg
½ tsp salt
2 Cup sugar
1 Cup shortening or oil
2 eggs
1 tsp lemon extract or your favorite flavor
½ pint sour cream (8 oz)
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, shortening, eggs, flavoring. Then mix in the sour cream. Add flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, nutmeg and salt. Mix well.

Drop by teaspoon on to greased cookies sheet. Bake at 350º until slightly brown.
