- 2 sticks butter
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp vanilla
- ½ cup chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Whip butter and sugar until fluffy. Add flour, nuts, and vanilla. Mix well. Using wax paper, roll into log. Chill or freeze for two hours. Slice ¼ inch pieces and bake for 15-20 minutes until just starting to brown at the bottom. Roll in powdered sugar.
