1 cup dark brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup evaporated milk
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
pinch of salt
2 teapoons of vanilla
2 cups chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Combine brown sugar and next 5 ingredients in a sauce pan.
Cook 10 minutes until a soft ball stage. Add vanilla and
pecans. Beat 1 minute or until mixture starts to thicken. Drop
by teaspoonfuls onto greased wax paper. Cool and Serve to
guest.

You can test for doneness by dropping a drop of mixture in
