2 Tbs. olive oil
4 Tbs. Butter
2 cups grated carrot
2 cups grated celery
2 cups chopped onion
2 bags Brownberry Stuffing, seasoned
1# Italian sausage
2# ground sirloin (I used ground beef)
1/2 cup raisins, dried cranberries or dried cherries
5 cups Chicken Broth
1 Tbs. sugar
Salt and Pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cook onion in 2 Tbs.oil and butter. Add crumbled Italian
sausage. Add ground sirloin and cook until browned.
In large bowl add cooked meat and onion then raw carrots and
celery. Add raisins, dried cranberries or dried cherries.
Add rest of ingredients and mix well. Put into glass casserole dish
and press down. Cover with foil wrap. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes.
Uncover and bake for 5 to 10 minutes longer.

I make this every year for Thanksgiving at Jeannie's house. When I make it just for us, I only make half of this recipe because it makes a lot and is easy to divide in half.
