Grammy's Pepper Steak Recipe

¼ Cup Oil
1 lb. Round Steak (cut into strips)
3 large red & green peppers (cut into strips)
1 Onion (chopped)
¼ Cup water
1 Cup chicken stock
1 tsp. Salt
½ tsp. Pepper
2 Tbsp. Cornstarch
1 Glove garlic (minced)
2 tsp. Soy sauce

Directions:
Directions:
1. Heat Oil and add steak until brown- Season with salt & pepper
2. Add onion, minced garlic, and 3 peppers
3. Pour in chicken stock- cover. Cook until peppers are tender (about ½ hour).
4. Blend together cornstarch, soy sauce & water. Sir in & simmer until it turns translucent.
5. Serve over rice or egg noodles! (Gram always served both)
