1/2 c butter
3/4 c white sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 c quick cooking oats ( such as Quaker)
3 Tbsp all-purpose flour
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder

1. preheat the oven to 350 D Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil

2. Melt butter in a microwave safe bowl in microwave. Add sugar and stir to combine. Add beaten egg and mix well. Stir in oats, flour, vanilla extract, salt and baking powder

3. Drop tsp fuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet

4. Bake in the preheated oven until edges are golden brown, about 8 min. Let cool completely before removing cookies from foil.
