1 ½ pounds small okra pods(the fresher the better)
3 small chili peppers or ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 cups water
1 cup white vinegar
2 tablespoons pickling salt

Directions:
Directions:
Pack the okra pods (point down)tightly into pint jars. place the dried pepper or flakes into the jar. Combine the water, vinegar and salt and bring them to a rolling boil. Pour over the okra in the jars and add hot lids and rings. Process for 10 minutes in a water bath canner. Allow the jars to sit 2-3 weeks before opening.
To can larger quantiles of okra just make more of the brine.
