Meatballs

2 lbs. Ground beef
2 eggs
1 cup flavored Italian breadcrumbs
¼ cup grated Locatelli Romano cheese
2 TBS. parsley flakes
2 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Pepper

Sauce

One 6 lb. 7 oz can of Hunt's tomato sauce (Sam's or Price Club)
Or 4 28 oz cans
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
½ tsp. basil
½ cup grated locatelli romano cheese
2 cans (6 oz) tomato paste or 1 Large Can

Meatballs

Mix all ingredients together, with your hands, and then form into balls.
Put enough vegetable oil into Large sauce pot, to just cover the bottom.
Add 1 peeled onion and 1 peeled garlic clove (I leave them whole, but if
you like, you can chop them up and sauté with the meatballs)
Fry meatballs in medium hot oil. Remove when browned.
Empty oil from bottom of pot and return meatballs to pot.

Sauce

Add to pot:
Tomato sauce, salt, pepper, basil, grated Locatelli Romano cheese, tomato paste
Mix all ingredients thoroughly, in the pot. Simmer over the lowest heat.
Stir once in a while.
Cook at least 1 - 1 ½ hours. Longer, if possible, the longer the better
