2 TSP BAKING SODA
1/4 TSP SALT
1 TSP CINNAMON
1 TSP GROUND GINGER
1/2 TSP GROUND CLOVES
2 1/4 C FLOUR
1/3 CUP CONFECTIONERS SUGAR

PRE HEAT OVEN 350º BAKE 15 MINS

MIX SHORTENING, B SUGAR, EGG, MOLASSES, BAKING SODA , SALT ,CINN, AND CLOVES UNTIL WELL BLENDED - ADD FLOUR AND MIX THOROUGHLY. CHILL FOR 1/2 HOUR- ROLL INTO WALNUT SIZE BALLS AND ROLL IN CONFECT SUGAR. PLACE ON PARCHMENT LINED COOKIE SHEET AND BAKE FOR 15 MINS
