2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 stick "oleo"/butter

1 pkg jello (flavor of choice!)
1 cup hot water
1 pkg. (8oz) cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1 lg. can evaporated milk - chilled WELL

Directions:
Directions:
Combine graham cracker crumbs and butter. Form in bottom and slightly up sides of 8x12 pan.

Dissolve jello in hot water.
Mix cream cheese and sugar, then add slowly to jello.
Whip evaporated milk well. Combine with jello and cream cheese mixture. Pour into crust and refrigerate.

Grandma would always have a cheesecake for when Aunt Carol and family would come to Quincy on the train. I don't know which was the longer wait- their arrival on the train, or the cheesecake!
Lemon or lime were the favorite flavors. MMmmm.
