1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1½ cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 cups oats
2 cups chopped dates

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 350º
combine dry ingredients (flour, baking soda and salt). In separate bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar. Add egg and vanilla. Mix until fluffy. Gradually add dry ingredients, mixing well between each addition. Stir in oats and dates. Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 11 to 12 minutes.
