1-28 oz can tomato puree
2-6 oz. cans tomato paste
2 fresh basil leaves
1 large clove garlic
1/2 cup wine
1 lb. hamburger for meatballs
1 pack Italian sausage
1 tbls oil
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Brown sausage and meat in oil. remove and set aside. Brown garlic in oil careful not to burn. Add wine, puree, paste and equal amounts of water. add basil and salt and pepper. Bring sauce to boil stirring frequently. Once the sauce is boiling add meat back to pot and add meatballs too. careful not to stir too hard breaking meatballs.
you can use different types of meat for your sauce, such as chuck roast, pork ribs or even chicken. Simmer three hours.
