½ C. ketchup
½ C. brown sugar
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1½ lbs. sirloin or any ground beef
½ C. milk+ 2 eggs
1½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp pepper- rounded generously
1 small onion- chopped
¼ tsp. ground ginger- rounded generously
¾ C. finely crushed saltine crackers


Fresh chopped rosemary (optional)

Mix brown sugar, ketchup and Worchester sauce in small saucepan (I double the recipe to make extra sauce for serving). Bring to a boil, about 1 minute.

In a separate bowl mix the remaining ingredients.

Shape into 9x9 loaf pan. Spread ketchup mixture on top. Be sure to save some for serving. Sprinkle with fresh rosemary.


Bake in 350º oven for 1 hour.
