1 1/2 c butter
3/4 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
3 c sugar
6 eggs
1 tbsp vanilla
1 c cocoa
1 1/2 c all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt

Optional add-in's: crushed chocolate bar, nuts, chocolate chips, m&ms, peanut butter cups.

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease and flour a 9"x13" baking pan.
Melt together butter and semi-sweet chocolate chips. Stir until smooth.
Whisk in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
Stir in cocoa, flour, baking powder, and salt.
Pour into pan and bake until outside edges are done and center is very slightly jiggly, 28-30 minutes.
Do not overbake. Brownies will continue setting as they cool.

I made these brownies for my family the day after my grandma Frieda's funeral, in honor of her. She was a wonderfully sweet and spunky and generous woman that I miss very much!
