2¼ cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup butter or margarine
¾ cup sugar
¾ cup brown sugar, packed
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 cup nuts
8 oz Red Sunripe cherries, chopped (candied)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, sugars, and vanilla extract in large bowl until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well each time Gradually add flour mixture, stir in chocolate chips, nuts and fruit. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake 9-12 minutes or until golden brown Cool on baking sheet
