1/2 cup orange juice
1/4 cup dried cranberries, soak in warm orange juice
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
1 egg, egg wash
almond slices or pecan pieces

Icing:
1/2 cup confectioners sugar
1 tablespoon water

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Microwave orange juice for 30 seconds, until warm. Add dried cranberries to juice and let soak for 10 minutes. In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar and vanilla. Mix until smooth. Unfold puff pastry and 1-inch from the top, fill the middle row with cream cheese. Leave 1-inch at top and bottom. Fold the top-inch dough onto the filling, then lay the dough With a knife carefully slice diagonal strips on both sides, leaving 1-inch from top and bottom. Fold the top inch of dough onto the filling, then lay the dough in a criss-cross pattern to form a braid. Before the last couple of strips, fold up the bottom and lay the remaining strips over. Whisk an egg and brush it over the top of the braid. Add almonds or pecans. Bake for 25 minutes. Cut and drizzle icing over braid.

Icing:
Mix confectioners sugar and water until smooth.
