2/3 c. vegetable shortening
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
Grated rind of 1 orange
2 Tbsp. orange juice
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and mix well. Sift dry ingredients together and add. Add orange rind and juice and mix to a smooth dough. Chill. Roll out on a slightly floured board and cut with a floured cookie cutter (or glass). Sprinkle with sugar and place on baking sheet. Bake 325º oven 12-15 mins.
