1 1/4 c. butter - softened
1 3/4 c. powdered sugar
2 oz. almond paste
1 egg
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt

Icing:
1 c. powdered sugar
4 tsp. evaporated milk
Whisk together and frost cookies

Oven to 375º

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add almond paste. Beat in egg, milk and vanilla. Combine flour and salt and gradually add to creamed mixture. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Roll dough to 1/4" thickness on floured surface. Cut with flower cookie cutters. Place on ungreased baking sheets. *You can add a stick at this time if you want a lollipop).

Bake 7-8 minutes or until firm. Let stand 2 minutes before moving to wire racks.

Prepare icing. Divide into small bowls if you want different colors. Spread over cookies.
