Mom's Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe

3/4 c. softened margarine
3/4 c. white sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar (firmly packed)
1 c. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix together. Then mix in:

3 eggs

In separate bowl stir together:

3 c. flour
1 t. salt
1 t. baking soda
1/2 t. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Gradually add to flour mixture. Consistency should be a little sticky but dry enough to pinch off dough and roll into 1" balls. Roll the balls into sugar and place on cookie sheet leaving about and inch between each. Criss-cross the balls with a sugar-dipped fork to somewhat flatten the balls.

Bake at 375 until very light brown and set.
