Ingredients:  
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cocoa
2 tsp. baking soda
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening. Add sugar and eggs, add salt. Dissolve cocoa in 1/2 cup hot water. Add sour cream and cocoa. Add baking soda mixed into flour. Mix well, drop on greased cookie sheet. Add walnuts if you want to. Bake at 350º for 10 to 12 minutes. Frost when cool with chocolate frosting.
