¾ C sugar
½ -¾ C milk
4 Tbsp butter
½ tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 C flour
4-6 cups peaches (fresh are best)

Directions:
Directions:
Slice peaches and place in bottom of 9x11 baking dish. Combine sugar, butter, add dry ingredients alternating with milk, then pour batter over peaches. Then mix 1 cup sugar, 1 Tbsp of cornstarch, 1⁄4 tsp salt and stir this mixture over batter. Pour 1 cup of boiling water over all and bake 325º for 50-60 min.
