1/2 c. oleo* (1 stick)
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg - beaten
1 Tbsp. hot water
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt

*Note that oleo is now called margarine*

Cream shortening, add sugar, eggs, hot water and peanut butter.

Sift dry ingredients and add.

Ball and roll in sugar. Bake at 375º for 10-12 minutes.
