2 sticks butter (1 cup)
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 cup peanut butter
Mix or cream 1st 3 ingredients together, then add the peanut butter

2 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups flour
2 scant teaspoons of baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1 cup oatmeal
Heath bits optional

Directions:
Directions:
Mix or cream 1st three ingredients together, then add peanut butter. Add the rest of the ingredients together in 2nd part of list, then add the oatmeal. Add flour if needed. I also like to add heath bits. Roll into balls and press with a floured fork.

Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
