2¼ C flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 C (2 sticks) softened butter
¾ C sugar
¾ C brown sugar (packed)
1 tsp vanilla
2 large eggs
2½ C mini semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º

Beat butter, both sugars, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time and mix well between each. Add baking soda and salt and mix well. Slowly add flour, mixing between each addition but only mix until just combined. Do not overmix! Use a cookie scoop or drop by tablespoonful onto parchment lined baking sheets.

Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on countertop.

This is a Lyla special! She (at age 7) can make these completely independently except for getting them out of the oven! We like them just on the underdone side so they are still super soft and chewy!
