Directions:DIRECTIONS 1. Make the Pudding: Make pudding as instructed on pudding box. OR beat pudding and milk with whisk 2 min. Let stand 5 min. (Grandma's Tip: Use JELL-O Vanilla Flavored Instant pudding mix. Two 3.4oz boxes = 9 cups)
2. Prepare Ingredients: Slice 3 bananas about a quarter of an inch thick.
3. Layer: In a 2-qt serving bowl, arrange 15 wafers on the bottom and up the sides of the bowl. On top of the wafers, place a layer of banana slices. On top of the bananas spoon in a layer of banana pudding. Repeat all layers. Cover with whipped cream. (Grandma's Tip: Use Nilla brand wafers and one 8 oz tub of COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed)
4. Refrigerate: Refrigerate for 3 hours.
5. Add Topping (Optional): Top with a layer of banana slices right before serving. (Grandma's Tip: Dip (do not soak) banana slices in lemon juice to keep them from browning and to add a little tang.) |
