Meatballs:

2 lbs. ground round
1 cup bread crumbs
1 pkg. onion soup mix (dried- boxed)
3 eggs

Sauce:

1 bottle chile sauce
1 cup brown sugar
1 can whole cranberry sauce
1 can drained sauerkraut

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all meatball ingredients and roll into 1-inch balls.
Mix sauce ingredients in sauce pot.
Simmer sauce until well heated through.
Spread evenly over uncooked meatballs in a 9x13 inch pan.
Bake at 350º for 2 hours. (Sometimes they're done sooner, but at least 1 hour.)

The meatballs can be made beforehand and frozen until the day of, if desired.
