1 Cup or ½ Pound Butter
1 Cup Granulated Sugar
½ Cup Confectioners’ Sugar
2 Eggs
4 Cups All Purpose Flour, sifted
1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
½ Teaspoon Salt
1 Tablespoon Brandy
½ Cup Sugar
2 Tablespoons Cinnamon

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375º F. Cream butter with the two kinds of sugar until very creamy and light. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add baking powder and salt to the flour and add to cream mixture in thirds. Finally, blend in the brandy.
Roll out on floured board to about ¼ inch thickness. Cut with round cookie cutter (smallest available). Place cookies on a greased cookie sheet and bake for approximately 12 minutes, until gold in color. Sprinkle with mixture of sugar and cinnamon while still hot.
