1 1/2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
3 Bananas, mashed
2 Eggs
2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/3 cup sour milk or buttermilk
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350º F(175º C). Lightly grease a 8 x 4 inch loaf pan.
2. Combine sugar, butter, bananas, eggs, flour, baking soda, milk, salt, and vanilla
extract in a large mixing bowl, beat well.**
3. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
4. Bake in preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until a tooth pick inserted into center of
loaf come out clean.

** For best results separate dry and liquid ingredients in separate bowls mix each separately first, then mix the dry ingredients into the wet until well blended, flour should not be visible, the pour into prepared loaf pan.

If after 1 hour of cook time the tooth pick has some residue on it, you can still remove the loaf pan from the oven and let cool on a cooling rack for approximately 45 minutes to one hour, some cooking will continue in this time, but do not try removing from loaf pan until sufficiently cooled.
